Unhappy inc_reviews.php(NOT A BUG)

After adding the root path for the inc_reviews.php my forums home page goes blank. If I uncomment "mysql_select_db" I get "Could not select reviewpost database" I've checked all my settings in both config files and they are right and my reviewpost works its just the inc_reviews.php that doesn't

I'm running the latest RP and vB3.5

Uncheck the link line and fill out the user and password to connect to the reviewpost database

If you did that and got could not select database then information in the link statement or select database statement below it had to be incorrect.

I'm using the same DB name / login / password as the reviewpost uses to run on the site now. only thing I can think is wrong is this : "mysql_select_db ("rp_database")"

I'm using the DB prefix rp_
any idea's?

mysql_select_db is your database name no table prefix.

I re-read the text at the top of inc_reviews.php and my RP and VB are all in the same DB using the same login and pass, so the,
//$link = mysql_connect
and
//mysql_select_db
should be set right being commented. So by the text this should work, but it doesn't.

I need to know exact forum url and you need to have the hack applied so I can see what your doing wrong.

It clearly works if set correctly I show both photo and product blocks on my forum
