vb 3.07 integration error

In the upgrade script there is a portion that populates that review field. Run the last upgrade script to do so.

ok i ran the upgrade script again, but no numbers showed up in the reviews.

ok i found where and how to update the post count.

now i have a new problem

cant post reviews, i get this error:

You don't have permission to post reviews for products in this category.

ive checked user levels and permissions and everything looks ok. any suggestions?

Okay there are 3 places where you set permissions.

1. The global selector in options to allow users to post reviews.

2. In usergroup permissions you elect to allow users to post reviews or not per usergroups

3. finally the ultimate permission definable by category for fine tuning you set when editing a category which usergroups can post to that category.

I would think that number 3 is where your issue is.

set to "yes"

ok, i think this is where the problem was. it was set to "no" all the way across for everybody. i changed it (havent tested as of this reply) to "yes" for the ones i wanted.

ok just tested it, yup. that was the problem. looks like everything is good to go now. thanks!
