I created a file called adm-backup.php using the code...

Running the PHP file reference is made to 'PhotoPost Classifieds Database Backup' and after clicking on 'backup all tables' the following is output:

Results:

Warning: rp_admingroups.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_admlog.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_categories.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_favorites.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_ipcache.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_iponline.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_laston.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_notify.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_products.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_reviews.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_settings.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_sort.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_usergroups.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.Warning: rp_users.sql is 0 bytes or did not get created.

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Script: adm-backup

Query: REPLACE INTO admlog (adminuser,ip,datestamp, description) VALUES ('Bart','195.157.204.229','1112050027','Performed a database backup')

Result: Table 'scene-outreviews.admlog' doesn't exist

Database handle: Resource id #6

It's not getting the variables for directory and mysqldump path even though they're set correctly (checked in /adm-editcfg.php).

Do you have an older Reviewpost laying around?

Problem is I dont see why it would not be picking up these variables.

We include adm-inc.php which includes pp-inc.php which requires config-inc.php

I do have one suggestion and that is to edit your config file and copy and paste those variables into your adm-backup.php file until I can do more testing.

That will surely fix it in the time being.

I decided to delete my adm-backup.php, created a new one with a fresh copy of the code supplied in this thread. I then ran the script and clicked on backup... and it saw the necessary variables and backed up the tables. Bizarre to say the least :-) !!

Clicking on 'backup your database' in adm-index.php is still broken though.
