Matt | Please don't delete this. My showcat still does not work and at this point am unsure how to fix it. It was a new install and never dreamt of running an upgrade script afterwards. will try later today (stuck at work).
Thanks for your work on trying to resolve this Matt. I knew we weren't all nuts.

Well, ok. It seems my reviewpost is finally working. I tried to sort through the incredible tangle that this post is for your answers Chuck, but if it wasn't for memobugs kindness in helping via PM, this would be a lost cause.
the upgrade of an install that supposedly didn't need an upgrade (it was 2.9) blew away line 100 as suspected.
For production ready software, this has been one helluva an experience for me since spending over $2500 5 months ago for multiple copies of all of them only to visit here daily.

Hi Everyone,
I just downloaded RP 2.9.1 a couple of days ago (I upgraded from RP 1.0.2), and I am having the same rating nondisplay issue....
I will read through these posts and try to figure out how to fix it....

I ran the upgrade.php script again (as suggested in this post) to update from 2.8 to 3.0, and it messed up my RP software so that it now has an MySQL error on the index page again....
I guess I am going to have to reupload and reinstall my 1.0.2 version and go through all of the upgrades again, and then fix the tables again that weren't upgraded by the upgrade.php script.....
Would someone mind please posting clear step-by-step directions as to how to fix the rating problem?
I would appreciate it,
Khashyar

Hi guys....
I downloaded the newest RP 2.9.1 on April 17th.....
Were any of these fixes applied after the 17th?
If so, I will need to download the new version with fixes........
Thanks,
Khashyar
(p.s..... I see that the RP 2.9.1 download file was modified in April 18th Lucky me )

The query Chuck posted early in the thread to restore setting #100 should help you out. Be sure to preface the table with the prefix of your reviewpost tables if you have one. It needs to be run in phpmyadmin or a similar tool.
Regards,
Matt

Adding item 100 into the database, coupled with installing the newest April 18th RP 2.9.1 script seems to have fixed all of my problems
(crossing my fingers).
Thanks for your help in resolving the issues.....

Yes, thank you, Memo....
I was up until 4 a.m. last night fixing the issues, but I am happy with the new features and look of the 2.9.1 RP software. It is a great improvement (from 1.0.2 which I know is an old version ).
