Question Additional Rating Cats not showing

I am using the showproduct1.tmpl and the reviews1.tmpl and have added rating categories, Quality, Price and Overall Rating.

When you submit a review the multiple ratings show up and you can select 1 thru 10. I checked the database and they are loaded in the reviews table.

However, when you look at the review the row below these three rating categories is blank. View a sample here http://www.micdigest.com/rp/index.php

It's like the template is not calling the correct data to populate this. Can you tell me where and what I need to change?

You need to allow unregistered users to be able to view products or give us a login.

Also please link a product so we know which one to look at that is in question

You can use ID: micle PW: go4top

Direct link to a product is: http://www.micdigest.com/rp/showprod...7&cat=3&page=1

However, all products are affected by this issue.

I can tell you exactly what you have done. You have edited the main showproduct template and expect them to work. Those variables are not active unless the template is either showproduct1 or above.

The php files are coded to active certain variable functions based on the multi template system. You need to either use the one provided or a new one. You can not modify the default template and expect variables to display without also altering scripts

I have installed the original files from version 282.zip file. I don't remember editing the template other than changing the name of the categories.

To use the multiple rating categories I thought we had to change the showproduct1.tmpl to showproduct.tmpl and overwrite it. This would show the multiple rating categories. However, that line is still empty.

So now that I have an unmodified version of the template, do you have other suggestions? Thanks.

Nevermind, so dumb I am. OK go read this:

FAQ--How to Create Additional Template Set's in Reviewpost

Now, you already have the two tmpl files named xxx1.tmpl so open the other files listed and do a SAVE AS to make them xxx1.tmpl files. Upload those files to your templates directory.

Go to the admin section and edit a category, there you will find this:

Template for category:
(leave this alone if you want the default! otherwise set to 1 for the alternate set)

Instead of the default 0, enter 1.

Save and you are good to go!
