unable to upload GIF images

Everything works great, except when I try to upload a GIF image. When I submit the new product, I just get a blank screen. If I change it to JPG, everything's cool.

Any thoughts? No urgency, just something that bugs me..

Yep GD can not handle gif images. You need to delete gif images as an acceptable imagetype or switch to Imagemagick if you want to gif images
