thumbnails have got all screwy

I was uploading pictures today for an item. but the image size is completely wrong. It was working fine earlier in the week. for some reason today it is way oversized.

I took a screen shot of a right click on the image, it says 300*300 and then I did a screen shot of the admin section of where it clearly says it shouldnt be 300*300

as far as I know no one has played with any mysql or server options.

any idea?

Which image processor are you using? It's not working. I have seen this on some servers. You need to double check your permissions on those uploads and data directories.

Let me know which processor as well cause if your using Mogrify try GD and see if that works.

Your image is not getting processed it is simply being dumped at regular size onto the server.
