Having a problem with this site

Not sure whats up, I am logged in and have clicked the 'click here to switch to Members Area to unlock all support forums'. No problem to this point. I see there are new posts, but when I click view new it returns 'Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. '.

I tried clearing cookies, no luck, still the same. It's been like this since yesterday. I try to logout and get this:

Smootihie,

I reported this problem this morning (one thread below this one now) :D

Here's a work around for now:

Maybe a ploy for staff here to say they didn't see any support threads? :D

Cheers,

~Regs.

Don't worry, I'm having issues still too (FireFox)

Is there a fix for this?
I have the same problem on my site since installing PP.

I have bb selected as my cookie for PP.

Is there a fix for this?

I have the cookie set to bb in PhotoPost.
When I look at my cookies I don't see any bb at all.

( Sorry for the duplicate. I hit the send and Netscape looked up. I came back to reneter the message.)

this thread is discussing a custom redirect for the members area

YOUR ISSUE is with cookies. The vb3 integration faq located in the install forum has all the info you need.

You need to look at each cookie and see how it is written

The cookie path cookie domain and prefix must match. Also you must input your vb license number not customer number in the photopost config

1996 328ti August 23rd, 2004 08:25 AM

I double checked and compared my license number.
Same number in config-inc.php is the same as my vb index.php script.

vB cookie settings
Path to Save Cookies /
Cookie Domain was blank, now .318ti.org

PP settings
Forum Cookie Prefix bb
Cookie Path /
Cookie Domain .318ti.org

I have the same logout problem trying to logout from photopost.com.
"An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out."

While I agree is seems it is a cookie problem, I have the same problem on 3 computers, 2 Mac and one PC regardless whose forum I am trying to logout from.

Added:
I logged onto my forum on another computer never going to my gallery, and still found the error message on logging out. Is this now telling me it is a vB problem?

I have commented out the one 'require' line in the forum index.php trying to isolate the problem. I get errors when the require line is uncommented which is another issue. Before intergrating the gallery with my forum, I want to be sure I have the kinks worked out using the gallery as a standalone section.

steven,

What omegatron is saying is that you are posting in the wrong thread; your issue has nothing to do with the topic being discussed here which is about THIS SITE not PhotoPost. Please check the Installations area and post in there to avoid further confusion.

Sorry. When I saw the first attached photo in this thread I thought my post was a continuation of the same subject.

I have read the vB3 Integration FAQ in the installation section.
I'll read it a again and post there accordingly.

But I do have the same problem logging out of this site also. ;)

Thanks.

As to the logout problem, I found the problem and made the necessary change to the navbar template.

I've also tested the New Posts link and it works now.

What was the problem?
This afternoon I was trying to think what I could have done to cause the same problem that I experienced here. The only thing I could think of was relating to this problem
