No linefeed in comment - VB4 <-> Photopost 7.1

If I comment a photo there is no automatic linefeed. This occured after updating my vBulletin from 4.1.7 -> 4.1.9

Server: Linux Fedora 15 with latest updates. Apache, Mysql and Php, all new versions. It is a dedicated server. I own the server myself. I have upgraded both vBulletin and Photopost to latest versions.

Not sure what your trying to say with word line feed. you have an exact url and description.

ChristianA January 2nd, 2012 12:21 AM

Here is the link:http://www.zoopet.com/tavlingar/show...php?photo=1792

I wrote the following in the quickcomment:
Line1
Line2
Line3

The result was
Line1
Line2
Line3

I edit the comment. The linefeed is still okey, but when I save it is:
Line1 Line2 Line3

well that would be how it is suppose to be so that is normal operatinal

as far as editing and them appearing on one line I will do some testing.

In quickcomment it's okey

If I take the comment I wrote and edit it. The same line will be:
Line1 Line2 Line3

All <br> are gone

.. after I save the edited comment

Chuck S January 2nd, 2012 10:32 AM

I will reply after I have a chance to test.

There is nothing on editing a comment that removes a line break. I need to first setup a 7.1 version for testing so that I can investigate.

ChristianA January 2nd, 2012 10:43 AM

Great. I'm in no hurry. A workaround is to add <br> manually and it works

Chuck S January 2nd, 2012 10:58 AM

yeah I am in the process of cleaning out my test site LOL

it has been so long since I used version 7.1 and soon that version will be non existent.

ChristianA January 17th, 2012 11:56 AM

Anything new?

Chuck S January 17th, 2012 12:03 PM

No sorry we are getting ready to release 8.0 final so been busy with that and 7.1 will be obsolete and version 8 should work fine with vb 4.19

ChristianA January 17th, 2012 12:21 PM

Check so it works with 8.0 and I am happy. I will do my workaround for now ;-)

Chuck S January 17th, 2012 12:23 PM

Yes I do not see any commenting issues with 8.0
