No width limit on "Recent Photos" following upgrade

Hi there,

We're preparing a site overhaul including a number of changes to the CSS that feeds our galleries.

Following the Photopost 7 upgrade and the CSS changes loading the front page now results in all sorts of ugly -

The "Most Recent Photos" box is loaded with 24 photos, which expands well beyond the edge of its container.

Switching to "Most Popular" or "Random" results in the correct number of photos being displayed - which in my case is 5. In fact, after clicking "Most Popular" or "Random" if you click again on "Most Recent" it displays the correct number again.

Any assistance troubleshooting this would be appreciated. I gather there's a container element someplace that is causing trouble.

Thanks!

Well you might want to post a link so we can respond about any photos width etc

A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery

However I will say any case of the CSS uglies would probally be a result of your css changes because all we can do is code our templates to use the default vbulletin css style. Any kind of custom css stuff you do would all depend on what your doing and it can have a dramatic affect on how things show.

Oh I am sure it's CSS related, was just hoping for hints as to how to hunt it down.

I note that the div container for the "Recent Photos" box is:

<div id="feature_latest" class="forumrow table">

I can't find reference to either of those in the CSS anywhere.

Thanks!

Thats not css related

In admin layout options these settings why not try 4 and 4

Number of columns for most recent additions section?

Number of photos to display in the most recent additions section?

Thanks Chuck - I'm not sure that addresses the underlying issues but it looks better now.

At 0, 0 is it just supposed to load as many that fit in the container? That setting was unchanged from my previous install - is this a change of behaviour since Photopost 7?

As always, thank you for such an immediate response.

you caused your issues because you where not printing any table cells.

Make sure your gallery is actually integrated with your vb4 and you have elected to use the forum style.

I had some paths pointed at the live site too, I just discovered.

The only settings I see pertaining to integration reference vb3 - are there supposed to be vb4 integration settings too?
