./global.php

Hi Chuck,

I need your help please:
____________________________________________________
Browser: Firefox 19.0 / Win 7
VBulletin: vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 3

Server: Managed Server
Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Quadcore incl. Hyper-Threading Technology
RAM 16 GB DDR3
System: Linux x86_64 / 2.6.32-5
PHP Version 5.3.22
MySQL: Client API version 5.1.66
Domain: Pedicabforum .com
Vbulletin-Install: Pedicabforum. com/forums
Photopost-Install: Pedicabforum com/forums/photopost

I separated URls because of error "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more."

____________________________________________________

1. I moved VBulletin and Photopost 7 from one slow dedicated root server to a new managed server. I did database backups with Mysqldumper.

2. I installed Vbulletin and Photopost 7 on the new server, but I got at the forum a white page. When I disabled Photopost in Plugins: The forum main was ok and the photopost was readable via direct link, but not integrated...integration gave me errors...even after upgrade to 8.23

3. So I decided to do a fresh install of PhotoPost Pro 8.23 inside the forums-folder...and later to import the tables from my version 7 (the images are still there in data and uploads, aprox 250 MB. I have backups of everything...).

4. The fresh 8.23 version was installed very quickly....everthing fine until I marked in the backoffice "VBulletin header integration" or something like this....

5. Now I receive errors:

Warning: require(./global.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/users/pedics/forums/photopost/header-inc.php on line 58

Warning: require(./global.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/users/pedics/forums/photopost/header-inc.php on line 58

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php/') in /usr/www/users/pedics/forums/photopost/header-inc.php on line 58

Any idea what is wrong?

Thank you

vBulletin Installation/Integration Common Issues and Resolutions.

Number 2 on that FAQ should help you.

Likewise here is the tutorial on moving servers.

Thank you Chuck...You were right (of course, hehehe):
In config-int.php the path to my forum installation was wrong...now it works great..(at least it seems)....

Now, as I do have a fresh and working 8.23 installation...which tables should I import from my backup I did of the database working with version 7.....I guess settings not, right?

You can not import database 7 tables into database 8 tables.

You must properly import and use a database 7 install follow the instructions on how to move a site get that version 7 site operational and then upgrade it.

Your not going to be able to say insert older photos comments etc into newer database tables because fields may exist in tables that are not there in your older version so importing them into the current tables would not work.
