Bullets not lining up after upgrade from 7.02 to 8.23

After following the 7.0 upgrade path, I have found that the bullets on all pages/tables do not lign up with the text:

I am trying to post a URL but am being told I cannot until I have made 15 posts or more. Go to: bratazor dot com

Any thoughts on the cause of this?

Per the documentation the older stylesheets can not be used with version 8.

Make sure to delete your old stylesheets directory and then upload a clean stylesheets directory and then select a style under admin -> layout options

Being a 3rd level support manager, I should have thought of reading the manual before opening a ticket. . .

very common mistake when upgrading people not reading the documentation. No worries we are use to it.
