I do not see how standalone versus a forum integration would matter with that options here is 8.23 on my site with my vb integration turned off using the standalone style so thats not your issue A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery
Is the recent thumbnail block set to be turned on in your options. Have you ran any required upgrades and your sure your using all the proper files depending on what version you updated from.
You can send me more info to look at your site if your sure all options are set right etc

I think I know what your issue was but to be ultra sure you have the proper fix redownload the build and upload pp-inc.php then you can turn the mobile thing back on.

Sorry Chuck I have been away all day - I see you've fixed my site (I guess using the login I sent before?) Thanks a lot!
Should I still re-download and upload as you suggest?

Yes I had a login cached in my browser always save logins.
I turned off mobile display to see what the error is so you should redownload and upload the file noted.

Thanks, I've done that now. I guess I should have asked what the problem was?

Yeah I had to look at the site to determine what the issue was.
Basically the issue was the code was missing an else clause to set is_mobile to off like so. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

FYI I was viewing your site Skiing and SnowBoarding photogallery - snowHeads snowMediazone
Your using the sidebar and setting the global table width to 95% instead of 100% which can lead to some different display issues like alignments which I see looking at your site.
If you want to use a sidebar and restrict your gallery to a specific width my suggestion would be to set your global table width to 100%. You then at the bottom of your header place something like this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
then at the top of your footer you place this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I had the table width set to 100% until a few days ago but the right hand edge of the site has been "truncated" since the move to PP8 versions. I'll put it back to 100% so you can see what I mean.
Edit - actually what you see at the moment with 100% is that the site doesn't fit the screen and scroll bars are present. I'm trying to get a screen shot of a "message screen" which shows a right hand border that's almost missing compared with the left - but I noticed that's the same at 95% as well.

If u can see anything I can not sure post it
I was just saying if u setup things as I noted in my reply u should be fine to run a smaller percentage without issue.
