| Warning: pp-inc.php on line 4611
Just upgraded to 8.2 and this is at the top of all pages. Double checked the files. Cannot get into adm now.
Warning: mysql_fetch_row() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in [path]/hdgallery/pp-inc.php on line 4611
Thanks,
-Jason

Have you ran all required upgrades?
Basically your error tells me you have not ran the upgrades. Most likely the upgrade 8.0 to 8.x upgrade

Dang, I thought I was upgrading from 8.1 but it looks like it was 8.0.
That solved that error, now I just cant get into the admin site. I will pm you the logins.
on another note, is there a way to make the adm-index load without performing all of those statistics queries? At 800K pics it thrashes my server each time I, when I can, load the page.
Thanks again for the help,
-Jason

Comment out that line with // and then it will not stat the data directory and should load quick.

I reached your admin without any problem so commenting out that line should make it load lots quicker your probally timing out trying to stat the directory.
Just an FYI also your forum login is extremely slow and at one time even timed out. This of course since I was logging in using your forum login prompting was not a galery issue so just thought I would bring that up since you seem to be having connection issues across the board.
Also make sure once you make things active you need to redo the plugins as well as that was also in the documentation and I figured you most likely overlooked that as well.

That did it, thanks!!
Not sure what is up with the server, its dedicated. I have been optimizing it all day. I removed noatime and that was a huge boost earlier. They are bulking up the ram tonight, well see.
Thanks again for everything,
-Jason

Yeah the gallery loaded fine and was fast when I looked it was just the forum login which took forever. trying to stat a directory as huge of yours would take alot of time so that edit does indeed speed up admin.
You still do not have your plugins for vb4 redone or active or something so you have no menu system.

You are gonna laugh but which file do I need to edit that line out?
I think my problem is io and ram. Both are not doing so well in the mysql dept. I have asked to upgrade the ram and and a second hd so I can move the mysql tables there.

We where talking the adm-misc.php file so that is the line I am talking about.
Just make sure before you open things up to redo the xml plugins for vbulletin.

Ah, ok, thats what I thought, still slow for some reason. Dont worry about it for now. Once I get the new drive in and tables moved I will look deeper. They are in Phillly so I may have to wait for Sandy
Check on the plugin and thanks!

Yes I am about an hour and a half south of Philly just north of Baltimore so we are just sitting here relaxing waiting for the storm to pass.

Thank goodness man! I saw all of that. I am glad I am here in Texas. We don't have vegetation, water, many trees but at-least we don't have that! Of course if we did it would be bigger.....
On the subject. I did comment out (actually removed it too) but the page still causes the mice that run my server to have cheese embolyisms. Is there anything else I should remove? Or force that middle page to just be blank? I have never seen it so I dont think I am missing much lol
Thanks again,
-Jason
P.s. Upgraded the ram to 16gb and the server is much better. May need to go higher.

I would need to know what your server is bulking down on to make a suggestion. No ideas here as aside from trying to stat that data directory I do not see anything that is of any huge load in the admin panel.

Its no big deal really. Is there a way to just force a black page in the center frame instead of that one?

Yeah well I can not comment about your server issues without you investigating your server error logs and telling me what it is crapping out on. |
