upgrade fron 8.1 to 8.22 question

I missed the previous upgrades and I want to upgrade from 8.1 to 8.22

- Can I upload the new package and run the upgrade script?
- Wich files I should save from the installation along config-inc.php and config-int.php?

I have made some modifications in the translation of the XML, perhaps the XML phrases could be incorporated on the language files so we van track them easily, but in the meantime: where are the files used to generate the XML files so I can patch them before the installation with the new translations?

Thanks for your work

The xml files plugins are not part of gallery they are a separate vb plugin so everything you translate would be there they can not be incorporated into our product since they are solely for use in vb4. Normally you would translate the phrases after installed but before is fine as long as it does not mess up the xml.

Uploading everything except the config files and running the upgrade is the documented procedure noted in the documentation in the downloaded code and run the upgrade script and select the upgrade needed. You then click the admin link to go to admin generate your new xml and install that into vb making sure to overwrite any old plugin or uninstall any old plugin. You can then remove the install directory and your good to go.

Excuse me if I ask, I can translate the phrases in the vB tool if the plugin says which are his phrases. I have made corrections to the spanish.php file, I'll submit it for next upgrades.

The phrases for the plugin like I said exist in the plugin itself. You would need to translate those phrases for the plugin either before or what I was saying you could do it in the vb phrase manager.

You can submit any spanish translation for the core gallery product in the mod corner language subforum.
