Will upgrade from 6.22 to 8.x break this?

Ford Explorer and Ranger Enthusiast Forums - Serious Explorations

On my VbAdvanced portal page I have a Featured Photo box which pulls images from the PP gallery. Will an upgrade to 8.x break that? If so are their instructions to re implement it?

I do not see how upgrading our application would have anything to do with some type of custom thing you have running elsewhere.

Just my thoughts

If you are using for instance the inc_features.php script in our application to do that it by nature is suppose to show here on the forumhome

Ford Explorer Ranger Enthusiasts "Serious Explorations"®

So really this means if your using our scripting to do it you have altered it. My suggestion would be to NOT upload the inc_features.php file

Other than that you must upload everything except the 2 config files and maybe that inc_features.php file and run the required upgrades.

Thanks for the tips. My upgrade went smoothly.

If I change from the old standard URLs to the SEO friendly style, will the old links in my forums be broken, or will they be redirected to the new URLs?

Which file contains the PhotoPost nav bar that has "Home - My Photos - My Albums... etc."

I dug around a bit, but couldn't locate it. I would like to change "Home" to "Gallery Home".

If you are using vb4 then you edit the phrase in your vb phrase manager or if you are talking the regular photopost menubar you would edit via ftp your photopost language file directly.
