No old user ratings in comments after upgrade
 

Upgrade went smooth except for this little issue. Is this normal behavior? Do I have to run a query to show old ratings in posts? Since our members like to see them.

You would have to modify the showcomments template I assume and add the variable $crow[rating] somewhere where you want it as that is not shown.

But when posting new messages after the upgrade the stars are shown, so are they different from the old ones? Can old comments not have the stars?

Individual ratings are not shown on individual comments that is intentional and yes the rating stars show the overall rating of the photo.

I just voted after the upgrade and stars are shown in my comment, both I and others can see my rating:

Yes it works fine for votes placed after upgrade, I just wish I could make the old ones show up this way too.

It should show a rating for any rating which is a rating not a vote

I do not specifically see anything in the code that says old or new. Basically if a rating exists it gets the star rating for that rating.

They are all ratings. We do not use votes.

This is very confusing, old ratings show no stars.

Well this is the code right in showphoto.php

As long as ratings are allowed and the rating is greater than it is shown but old ratings most likely the issue is there is no rating since the ratings table is new with PP8
