| Upgraded from vB3.8 to 4.2
Hi I just upgraded from 3.8 to 4.2.
Forums are forums.alpinezone.com

Anything special I need to do for Photopost? Can i just install the newest XML and call it a day?

You need to download the new photopost and upgrade to 8.03 if you want support for 4.2 of vb.

Sorry just want to be sure I don't mess this up. I just upload the files from FORUM in to the Forum root and GALLERY to the Gallery root?
And then do I need to import new XML or anything or is that it?

we are talking photopost pro right as this is the pro forum or are you trying to talk about vbgallery
Your using Pro so there are no forum files in our product. You would simply upgrade your gallery and you can generate the plugin from admin that works with the version of vbulletin your running.
Upgrade documentation is included in the documentations folder of the download as the procedure has changed including the upgrade process.

ok, followed your instructions on the 8.03 release.
The gallery is looking a little strange. Can't post URL's but it's forums . alpinezone .com / gallery

I ended up uploading the full directory and I'm still getting the same errors. I did pull out the files you said not to include (config.php / config-init.php, etc.)

Please read the actual upgrade documentation in the documentations folder of the download as I stated.
You say you have but clearly you have not performed your upgrade. The documentation is very specific. You need to run the upgrade script and then install the actual plugins. I show you have done neither all you did was upload PP8 files.

I was reading from your page here --> www photopost com/forum/photopost-announcements/147805-photopost-pro-8-03-released-3-20-2012-a.html
where it says you only need to upload the files if you are upgrading I guess that meant from 8.02
Anyway. I ran the upgrade script. I think I got it. Thanks for the help.

Maybe you where using 8.01 I can not say but based on the error I would suspect your rates table did not exist which is why running the upgrade should work. Also finishing the upgrade with the plugins for vbulletin makes everything else resolved.
