Random Photos issue after upgrading to 5.31 to 8.01

I've recently applied the upgrade from 5.31 to 8.01 on my Development server. The upgrade went flawlessly, but now I have a display issue on the Random/recent photos display.

On 5.31 the random/recent photos showed a thumbnail and the description or name of the image and the name of the user that uploaded the image. But version 8.01 shows the thumbnail and the gallery the image was uploaded to and that's all.

Am I just overlooking a setting or does 8.01 handle this differently? I vastly prefer the way it displays in 5.31 and I didn't expect the upgrade to change this at all. I'd like to get this fixed before upgrading my Production server.

Here are two screen shots showing the difference:

The feature blocks have been shown differently for some time now. This is not an issue since the software is showing as it should. If you do searchs for $ptitlethe maybe you can find some mod threads to help you mod things.

Oh, I see. OK. I did some searching but didn't find anything here with that keyword.

I also see lots of changes on each photo page too. I'm not sure I like them better, but they aren't bad.

I guess all this change is hard wired into this version. I'll spend some more time with it and decide if I want to move forward with the upgrade.

Thanks Chuck. Have a nice weekend.

Well yes this version the reviews have been great since it is all customer requests.

I would assume if you where using 5 year old software that it could be a bit of a shock all the changes
