PP 8 mobile and captcha questions

Thanks to Chuck's support I am slowly getting to grips with the new layout required for my site. However I have now come across two further issues:-

If "Use CAPTCHA Images when verifying unregistered users" is turned on in registration options then no CAPTCHA images appear on the registration page. GD2 is enabled in PHP. I have turned this option off so that people can now register.

I have enabled the "mobile" option but receive an HTTP 400 error when going to my site on a Blackberry. On the same phone A community photo galleryOmegatron Gallery loads what appears to be the standard home page (very small) whereas A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery loads a blue screen headed "ALBUMS" with a list of galleries underneath, although it is not possible to navigate to any of them. This was happening with my site on the Blackberry until I changed the css, now I get the 400 error.

Is there something else that needs to be done with "Mobile" other than enable it?

Thanks

If images do not appear then your GD2 does not support the required functions to generate those captcha imaging.

As far as mobile that application as posted is basically very raw just a beginning. It may not work on all mobile devices properly. Viewing my sites look fine for how they are set depending whether they use or do not use the mobile thing on my motorola droid pro which is android system just fine. There will be lots of changes and updated and work considering mobile technology more forwards PP9. This is just a start and is subject to changes lots.

Just check in here for updates from time to time.

GD2 seems to have all the necessary bits and pieces.

Maybe it doesn't work because cap.php is trying to use /images/serifab.ttf and there is no serifab.ttf in the images folder?

Interesting easy to check out. You own classifieds copy the serifab.ttf file from your classifieds images directory to your gallery directory and see if that resolves the issue.

Unfortunately I no longer use Classifieds and my licence has expired so it won't let me download it. I'll have to see if I have an old backup somewhere when I get home. I've just re-downloaded the PP8 build and serifab.ttf is definitely not in there.
