I have inside admin>edit category> un checked the proper boxes > even checked all settings to children, But when not logged in i can still view each category - and when logged in as a regular member i can upload in a gallery im not suposed to as well. It seems none of the settings are registering.

I really can not comment without a whole bunch more info.

I can tell you if the application is installed correctly it will work fine.

Are you not the guy who had the application incorrectly installed as a standalone instead of integrated with your forum?

If so I beleive I suggested you delete the pp_usergroups table before you reinstall to make sure usergroups are right.

I would suspect this was not done and your groups are not aligned correctly in your usergroup manager in photopost versus what they really are in your forum.

If your integrated with vbulletin forum then in your pp_usergroups table in the database you can delete all usergroups except groupid 6 which is the admin group. You can then in your gallery admin edit usergroups reimport the usergroups and set permissions and then under edit categories reset permissions.

well then your letting a group upload is the only answer.

Take note you are allowing registered users to upload so they should have an upload link. Now when they go to upload the categories they can upload to are listed in the cat box. The change I noted on that one line is for the catbox that appears it makes sure the cat box lists categories you have set that users can upload to not view.

Ok i can live with that

Final question and we should be good to go

I uploaded a video just a small one 30sec clip and it works fine and all but it added the clip to the forums thumbnail and it crashes the forums, i tried removing show latest and its still showing latest posted photo/video - remove the clip and forums works.
