Some avatars not showing in V8

Hi, I just upgrade to V8 and everything seems to be working, but some avatars are not displaying.

I have an integration with Xenforo.

How can I fix that ?

Thanks.

well the answer is going to be why do they not show does it have to do with some type of cache thing your server is doing so your not sure what your seeing?

There are no forum integration changes between version 8 and what you where using before.

Version 8 is mostly a look and feel redesign no changes.

Basically if a user's avatar_date field is not empty we try and show an avatar using the forum avatar script.

No, here is not a cache issue, I tried with different browsers, see the source and has nothing to do with cache.

Take a look and you will see.

Thanks.

Take a look at what? You need to post a url of what I am trying to look at. I do not read your language so not like I can navigate your site. I can only do basic navigation and following of things.

Perfil de Miembro - Galería de Fotografía

You have an avatar it shows.

We only support one type of avatar in xenforo so maybe there are other avatar types just a guess not sure I do not use xenforo.

Ok, take a look here. Thats what I mean, some avatars show and some not.

You can browse all the images in the gallery and the same happens.

Some members do not have avatars therefore there is nothing to show

NOSFERATU | Foros Apple - Ayuda y soporte Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod, iOS y software

That microphone is a style placeholder on your forum the user has no avatar.

Ok, you choose a member not seen scince 2007, but it has an avatar. All users "without an avatar", have one, its a default image that should show as well.

But lets do it with a super moderator, active everyday.

Forum user: See here.
Gallery user: See here.

Now with active users.

Forum user: See here.
Gallery user: See here.

Forum user: See here.
Gallery user: See here.

Forum user: See here.
Gallery user: See here.

Forum user: See here.
Gallery user: See here.

And I can post a lot of those. Active users with avatars that the gallery does not show. So, some users show it and some not and thats what's need to be fixed.

Thanks.

Like I said there may be avatar types that we do not support in xenforo. We support one avatar type as I said initially.

That is exactly your issue

The avatar in xenforo when we wrote integration is like

data/avatars/m/0/$cuserid.jpg?$uavatar

Your missing avatars seem to be

data/avatars/l/1/$cuserid.jpg?$uavatar

Therefore the avatar functionality has been expanded in later xenforo's. If we can get access to a copy we may be able to support other types but as of this minute we support what what we can.

Well, you have access to my installation if you want to check it, that way you can offer a complete working integration for Xenforo.

I am pretty sure all the users of Xenforo (that beleive me, will grow a lot) will appreciate having an integration that works 100% and not just in some things.

I am open for giving you complete access to test anything you need for Xenforo and PP integration. Just send me a mail and I will send any info/credentials you need for that.

At the end PP will offer more and better things, so I think its a win win.

I will be stucked now with half of the members with no avatar, so it kind of sucks...

Peter as I have said I no access to your site just because at one time I may have done an install etc I do not keep any type of peoples accesses.

You sent me an admin login today but to look at how xenforo does things I would need ftp info and phpmyadmin info to look at how things are stored and all and that all depends if I can decipher your forum front end since it isnt english.

Yes I emailed you as you did not send phpmyadmin link. I really need to see the database and how the avatar stuff is being stored.

Ok, then you reply about the database tables and I replied that. You have in the FTP a full database of the actual forum. So you can download it, its the xenforodatabase file inside httpdocs.
