| V8 upgrade with Xenforo
Hi, I just upgrade to V8 and when I go to "Edit Config" in admin, I see in yellow and empty this:
"
Xenforo Globalsalt required for xenforo integration (if using Xenforo integration, you must enter your globalsalt number here).
You can find this number in your xenforo librarynForo\Application.php file. Around line 473 line in the file looks like: 'globalsalt' => '########################', It is the ######################## number you need to place here.
"
It was already integrated and I pasted it again, but after save its empty again.
Is that how its supposed to work ?
Thanks.

It is not suppose to be empty but I can tell you on your new server setup I saw that action when I changed options in your admin they took hold meaning the front end changed as you saw but it was like almost like your admin was cached. There is no cache we do.
You can actually check the config file directly to verify whats in there.

config-inc.php has the salt now.
In admin it shows yellow and the field empty.
Is that correct ?
Did you change something there ?

But ok, good to know its just the cache.
Now.
config-inc.php has the salt now.
In admin it shows yellow and the field empty.
Is that correct ?
