| Strange buggy upgrade from 5.5 to 7.1
Been using PhotoPost for years - but haven't upgrade since version 5.5.
Today I took the plunge. I uploaded the files as instructed, ran the updates in series, and everything seemed fine. But something is clearly very wrong with the install. (I would attach image but don't have enough posts LOL - apparently I can buy the software but can't link images about it)
As you can see by the attached image, I am able to see some of my images, but there is a block header titled "Last Photo Upload" that repeats itself 35 times down the middle of the page. Additionally, all of the standard modules do not appear to work correctly - they show thumbnails, but no descriptions, and the "most recent" "most popular" and "random" sorts do not work.
Here's the strange thing - once I am off this main page everything seems to work fine. I can select my albums, I can click the thumbnails on the home page and the detailed image shows correctly with proper information, etc.
Any ideas what might be going wrong?
It was a 5.5 > 7.1 upgrade. I am using vBulletin 4.1.7.

There is no attached image how about a url you can always place a url here. You can not post images below 15 posts as thats a vb thing I beleive spam prevention.
I would suspect maybe you missed an upgrade personally as if your header repeats it sounds like your missing a field for the iponline table but can not be sure without actually seeing the site.

Thanks Chuck - the URL thing is a setting in vBulletin I should know
Here's the image. You'll see immediately what I mean. I initially assumed that I missed copying a file, but I went through and manually checked every file and they are all there (in the proper version).

| Let's try it NOW.
LOL too funny. I can now confirm at least a MINOR bug in vBulletin 3.8.1... the error message I received said I could not post links until I had posted 15 or more posts on the forum. It actually means MORE than 15 - because it blocked me on post #15
By the way that is not a true screenshot - I just dumped a print file to PDF so it doesn't show a lot of the formatting. But it is enough to get the idea...

I meant a link to your actual gallery but looks to me like you did not run all the upgrades you needed to if you ask me.

I started at upgrade to 5.5, at which point it auto-prompts me for all the additional upgrades and I just keep hitting "next" over and over as it works through each step.
How would I check to see that all the upgrades were executed? Should I attempt a clean reinstall of all the files, and then execute upgrade.php again? Or would that frog things up?

I'm also having weird issues with my cookies.
It is clearly showing me as logged in. I can click on my photos, my albums, etc, but once I move off my gallery page I see the "not logged in" body copy at the top of the page:
If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. You may have to register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed. To start viewing messages, select the forum that you want to visit from the selection below.
Now I can ignore the copy, and access all my content. But if I try to log in (again) I get the following error:
Invalid Redirect URL ( Member Profile - BonsaiNut Photo Gallery)

Yep you definately missed something looks like something to do qith the categories table our missing as thats what your display issue says to me. You can safely run the upgrade script 5.0 to 7.0 and see if that helps. Do not run anything below the 5.0 upgrade.

LOL that appears to have fixed it. Even though my software files (I keep file archives of all my installs) were version 5.5, perhaps I had installed an earlier version and never upgraded to 5.5? Regardless, I just now did the upgrade again from 5.5 to 7.0 and nothing changed. But then I went and did the upgrade from 5.0 to 7.0 and everything appears fixed
Thank you very much for your help!!
