| Some issues after 6.1 7.1 upgrade
Hi,
I've just upgraded this site from 6.1 to 7.1 / halado.cewe-fotokonyv.hu/photopost/index.php / and I'm having some issues. The upgrade went fine, but the site was aligned left instead of center, I could figure out that if I keep the 6.1 version of the ppclose.tmpl and ppopen.tmpl files the site looks ok. What could be the reason for that? The second problem is also layout related, if I click a user’s picture, the slider above the picture doesn't work as saw it on other sites, a bunch of images are visible and it expands the width of the box. Here's an example: halado.cewe-fotokonyv.hu/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/8047/title/themisterygirl-atc/cat/500
The last problem is when click an image in the lightbox the are no buttons visible, you have to find the invisible spot at the corner to close the image.
Thanks in advance.

ps: I had to cut the https from the urls because the engine said I can’t post urls before I have 15 posts. Wasn’t a problem from me but I think it’s harder to find the answers at a support forum if you can’t actually show the problem.. |

I do not see any real issues viewing now except that lightbox.
I will make some comments on your statements though. You do not use old templates. ppopen and ppclose are simply tables for our program. If your trying to center our actual program in a center aligned table that is something you do in the actual headers and footers you load around our program.
As far as lightbox you can edit in the photopost js directory the lightbox. js file and at the top the two var statements to the gif images make them full urls to those files so they can be found. The lightbox js is having an issue finding them.

I took over the site a few weeks ago and the upgrade was my first task on photopost. I don’t know if there were any changes in the handling of headers and footers between the two versions, but with 6.1 using the same header and footer the table was centered, first I overwrote all files with the new versions, but then there was the problem.
To the stripe questions, is there a way to set the number of images shown?
Lightbox is working now, I had to use the url instead of the path.

You can not set the number of images on the next prev images
You can set options in showphoto options in admin
You can turn off the feature or set it top bottom left right and set 1 or 3 rows. You set whichever combination of options to suit your style.

Thanks for the help, I moved the images to the side, still don't know though why the width changes on this page.
One last question, on the same user page if I hit more pictures, the correct Hungarian spelling "még több" changes to "mg tbb" . Where can I correct this charset problem?

Set the number of preview rows to 1 on showphoto options and you will be fine with width
We do not have a hungarian language to my knowledge but the issue is with charset when using ajax since it loads stuff without reloading the page.
You can try maybe something like this placing whatever character set you wish on this line as noted in bold in your pp-inc.php file and try it out Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks, I'll try with one row.
I searched the pp-inc.php file for the lines you wrote but could not find "photopost. js" in it.

Try adding the charset code on line 621 of your version pp-inc.php file. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Yeah no idea then on this end. It is an issue with ajax and charset's for sure I would think. The suggestion I gave to you was one posted on the ajax sites.
