changing userids

Hi guys,

I'm in the middle of a major upgrade - moving my forums from UBB Threads 6.5 to Vbulletin 4.x. As part of that I'm moving my Photopost installation to the new server and upgrading it to 7.x. I've got the upgrade to PP done and integrated with VB however when moving from UBB to VB all of the userids change. This presents a problem because in the PP database all of the users, photos etc all have the OLD userids.

The VB tables contain both the old and new userid so it should be simple enough to match them up and change them in the PP tables but I can't figure out exactly what fields/tables I need to change to make it work.

Any help would be appreciated

Yes not really a photopost problem since your forum importer is what changed your userids on the forum import but this script may help. We make no guarantees that one can change integrations whenever they want without issues.

Thanks Chuck, that worked perfectly. I did have to update the userids in the pp_users table manually to match the new VB userids before running userfix.php but other than that it seems to be fine. I would have been ok doing it manually too but thanks for having that script handy.
