Pp 5.3 --> pp 7.1?

I've been running pp 5.3 on my forum for a long time. Is there any compelling reason to upgrade to 7.1? I tested 7.0.2 on my DEV server I don't see any differences?

What am I missing, if anything?

(I'm using PP with VB 3.7.5 -- so I don't need 4.0 changes or anything)

well there are tons of reasons to upgrade. One would be features another would be bug fixes. Your using a version that was released probally 4 years ago. I see no compelling reason not to upgrade given that scenerio.

Lots of stuff my friend read the changelog file in the documentation of the download.

Your using 4 year code easily. SEO, flash uploads, AJAX, private messaging, lightbox just to name a few there are lots other changes.
