(): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet.

Hi


I keep getting this message trying to upload pictures:

"(): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet."

And yet it IS supported:

".jpg,.jpeg,.JPEG,.JPG,.png,.gif,.bmp"

The image is a png and other images can't be uploaded either.

Make sure safe mode is off in PHP. Check your server path to your data directory in amin global options to ensure it is correct based on what your phpinfo is saying and make sure via ftp that your data and uploads directories are set 777 permissions recusively.

Ok I tried this but it didn't solve it, the error message still shows.

That error is very specific and is permissions related. which of the things I noted have not been done?

Also helps to post a url and test user login also.

Oh one thing we have changed since moving servers, we added this to php.ini for more security:

Is one of these used by Photopost perhaps?

Code removed but problem persists. It must be caused by something else... I've send you admin login details, if you want to take a look.

If you want me to look you would have to send admin login and url as well as ftp info to our contact us link in the header.
