Moving servers: which directories do I need to keep?

Hi

We're moving to a new server, and the plan is to move as little directories as possible.

So apart from /data what other directories will I need to keep that I can't re-upload from a new download package?

You need the data directory and database tables but its easiest to move the entire gallery directory because you will need those files anyway to run the program or reinstall them after you move.

Thanks, because our server got hacked and we don't know where it's hacked we want to move as little directories to the new location as possible.

I saw /uploads also has lots of files. Are these just temporary/stuck files or something? Or do I need to move those as well?

No only move data folder and database tables. Upload clean files and directories from the download and run the install script to redo the urls and paths to the new correct ones.
