| Upgraded to 7.x now unable to access admin panel
Hi there:
I upgraded from 6.02 to the latest version 7.1. Now PhotoPost is no longer seemlessly integrating with my BB.
It used to be that when you clicked on "Gallery" from the BB menu, that you would automatically be logged in using the BB user database.
I confirmed that the config inc/int files are both correct. In fact I never changed anything in those two files at all for the upgrade. During the upgrade, I selected "FusionBB" as the BB I'm using.
So, I'm unable to login in order to get to the Admin Panel to look at the settings.
Any ideas as to what I might try?
Jason

well it would help if you actually told me your issue. If you login what happens nothing?
I would suggest you actually rerun the install go through the install process installing into the settings which are correct
I would think something is off.
You can send us ftp and admin login if you continue to have a problem. what else did you do upgrade fusion? change forums?
We support fusionbb version 1 series. I see your running 3.

Hi Chuck:
Sorry I'm a bit rusty at this... it's been a couple of years since I have done any upgrades.
I just upgraded to FBB 3.2, yes. And then I purchased a renewal licence for PhotoPost and installed it.
I will upload install.php and rerun the install to see if that fixes it.
Thanks!
Jay

Not a problem. I was gonna say if it was because your using a newer version that we do not support that would not be a quick fix. |

Nope! Works like a charm with FBB 3.2 (the latest version). When I ran the PP upgrade I must have screwed something up.
Thanks, Chuck! I wouldn't have thought to re-run install.php.
Now, to figure out how to get it to pull the FBB style over. So rusty at this!

Figured that out now too!
For FusionBB users, under "Forum Settings" you need to type the name of your style sheet into:
Default theme setting (UBBThreads users only)
Even though it says UBBThreads users only, it works with FusionBB customers as well. In my case, I'm using the default style sheet so I typed "Professional" in that space (the name of the stylesheet I use) and boom!
Great to be back up and running again!

yes actually threads wowbb and fusion all have default stylesheet names
The default stylesheet is only used when the user style is empty.

For the simplicity of FBB users, I wonder if you would consider seperating them in a future update and specifying "UBB/FBB/etc..." so it's more clear?
Either way, it's all good. Looking forward to later releases of your software!

changing the description to read ubbthreads/wowbb/fusion users is relatively easy.
