Upgraded to 7.03 now way too many thumbnail images on showphoto

So I upgraded from 6.2 to 7.03 (yeah, I'm updating all 7 of my installs today LOL)...

Anyway, I noticed that now on showphoto pages that the preview of other images has a whole lot there.

For example, take a look here - 2009 Ford Flex - Ford Flex Photos

There are a total of 21 thumbnail images above the main image. That is way too many, and is actually causing display problems (it's too wide).

I can't find the config setting to change that. I thought it would be under showphoto options, it wasn't there. I also looked under sidebar. So where is that setting? It's setup right now for 7 columns and 3 rows, and I want to change that to 5 columns and 1 row.

You would go into admin => show photo options and set the number of rows back to 1 not 3.

You can only change it to 1 row or 3

It's clearly labeled columns in the admin panel:

Number of thumbnail preview columns?
Can be 1 or 3.

I'm curious as to why it's 1 or 3 columns as the choice. That seems kind of arbitrary....? And no "2" option.... ??

Also, how do I change it from 7 images (columns) down to something more reasonable? I only see an "yes/no" setting labeled Enable next and previous photo previews?, but no option to change the number of columns...

If that option doesn't exist, I have no choice but to disable the previews as it's too wide and is messing up the layout for everyone.

There has never been an option to pick as of yet how many previews per row. it has always been 5 or 7

The options are on or off. top bottom left or right and then 1 or 3 rows. I can not say why no 2 row option just how Michael designed it.

As a workaround, I moved the preview thumbnails to the right in a columnar format. That will work just fine ;-)

yes on restricted width sites left right column of one thumbnail works best.
