| Default?
Do you mean to tell me that this complete disaster and ugliness in my gallery, which has sparkling clean templates, is default? DISASTER
Where's the margins and exactly where are they located in the slideshow template so that I can change them? Thank you.

The only issue I see is your trying to show the next prev thumbs on showphoto when your display is so condensed into a small space.
I would suggest you turn off the next prev thumbs.

Your page width is only 900pixels so you can not show multiple 225 pixel thumbails on that page. Remember you have these features turned off on the index because of this so it makes sense to turn off that feature on showphoto.

It was on before with 3-4 slideshow pics (not as large as they are now though, but in between what's showing and thumbnail size) under the one that somebody was viewing. It's a margin issue and I need to know where to fix it so it's aligned with the rest of my board, as well as resizing those slideshow pictures.

Your thumbnails are 225 pixels replacing files is not going to affect that. Thats an absolute
Our next previous thumbnail strip in Photopost 7 series has always shown either 7 or 21 thumbnails.
Only if you modify your code are you going to show less.
As far as thumbnail size most people use 100 pixels for a thumbnail. If you wish to change your thumbnail size you do that under admin -> upload options and then in scan database in admin rebuild all thumbnails.
what your showing is no margin issue. You have turned on the next previous display are are trying to show 7 225 pixel thumbnail previews in a 900 pixel space thats why it scrolls horizontally.

By the way the only coding issue that you reported earlier is indeed fixed by replacing the code with default files. The my photos link now correctly goes to all a users photos like so - Gallery |

They're not in date order by any means even though all defaults are set for the latest, including subcats. I'm looking into your other suggestion now but it's already set at 100 x 100 so I don't know what the problem is there.

I forgot to ask you with the error message, do I wait for it to finish or whatever? The bottom of my window says "Done."

Okay, I had a few other boxes checked to multitask, like get rid of the no thumbnail found when there always was one before. Started all over and now get this error after picture 86 and FYI, I have over 5000 pictures. I would really like to know what's going on.
Processing may take a while... please be patient and wait the for FINISHED message...
Checking photo #86: rebuilding /home/couttsc/public_html/gallery/data/500/thumbs/DSC_5794.jpg from /home/couttsc/public_html/gallery/data/500/DSC_5794.jpg ...

Your host has changed your server setup. Imagemagick no longer works as they have disabled alot of php functions like exec etc so you can not use it.
Look at your phpinfo under admin you will see your server was redone a few days ago.
You never saw this issue because you have had your gallery down.
I tried changing your image processor to GD2 but some permission on your server prevents your thumbnails from being created DSCN0516 - Gallery
You can ask your host about the recent changes.
Please verify your data directory is 777 permissions every level down.

I wasn't notified by my host of any such thing and she will be the next person to call as soon as I send this. You just don't do that kind of stuff without letting your clients know. I will keep you posted on this and verify the data directory request.
Off topic here a bit, but the original upgrade months ago broke some links and we all know that. however; within the past few weeks, that's when I just started having meltdowns all over the place with the blank pages, everything. Could the host have something to do with this by chance? When I first started using this host, within a week that I went online, they had lost 5 days of posts and pictures because my space became overloaded or in the red and nobody bothered to check or let me know. This was found out, of course, the hard way.
If the host could have contributed to this hell we've been going through, I'm switching and like immediately and please let me know if that will mess up anything else because at this point in time, I'm ready to start taking a lot of Xanax.

No any issues I have seen thus far have been a result of whatever edits have been done to your files. Your running clean photopost code that is the same as what was put on your server months ago as 7.02 has been out since spring.
Any other issues you have been going through are cosmetic display things as your trying to get a look of a site has our code they have customized.
The issues I have seen are all from the customizations or alterations of files.
Your new issue is most definately related to your recent server change since that would break your permissions image processor etc

Just got off the phone with the host and sure enough, they turned off all sorts of permissions just like you said and that has made your life, my life, and Mike's life hell this entire week. So what I'm thinking is that we just could have fixed the links and all would have been fine and dandy or did this hosting issue with turning off permissions start making things go wonky pretty fast so that we installed a clean copy of PP?

Your exisiting site is a clean photopost now.
If you sort out permissions your copy should work just fine no need to reinstall because you need to fix the server permissions.

That is not in a template
The showphoto.php and showframe.php files are where the php code to pull next prev thumbs is located
No version of our software ever displayed only 3 thumbnails. Before I think early versions showed 5 but I beleive it has been 7 since 6.2 series
To change anything regarding this it would be called code modification.

Yep if you host fixes your permissions issues you should be able to resize those thumbs down to a more managable size to use in your constrained width.
