Sorry, Personal Albums are not enabled after upgrade Hi there, I have upgraded Photopost to the latest version and was initially able to get in and upload photos and access the admin settings but after our users said they still couldn't get in I have deleted my cookies in testing and now even I cannot access them and cannot even get to the admin settings. All I get is this message: Sorry, Personal Albums are not enabled. Why is it not recognising my login from the vB4 forum? Can you help please? |
Might be wrong about this but here we go. In vbulletin go to your your admincp> settings> Cookies and HTTP Header Options and check the options in there. They should be as follows: Path to Save Cookies set to / Cookie Domain set to .yourdomain.com Obviously the "your domain" bit should be replaced with your actual domain name. Don't forget that this should start with a . (dot) Now in photopost pro Admin> all settings> Cookie Settings Now check that the cookies setting actually match with vb the setting should be: PhotoPost Cookie Path / Forum Cookie Prefix bb PhotoPost Cookie Domain .yourdomain.com also just beneath this is the forum url make sure that data is correct. Reckon that should be the problem. |
Just realised that you can't log in. Sounds like you'll need to change the cookies settings in the database. |
Yes photopost is not going to affect your vb login if you can not login to the forum you might need to visit the vb support site. As far as personal albums you can enable albums in admin options in our photopost admin area. You can then set which groups can create albums under edit usergroups in photopost admin. |
I can log into VB just fine but as soon as I try to go to PhotoPost it gives me that message. I can't even get to the admin page to change any settings as it just brings up a Photopost login page. I type in my VB username and password and it just takes me to the main gallery index with no personal albums. Can you tell me how I can fix this? |
well then you changed something. You might need to rerun through the install to set it back up right. before you do that post a url and test login so I can really diagnose your issue. |
