Gallery Issues AGAIN or STILL

Chuck, when I upgraded a few months ago, my gallery is still hideous. I had a professional do my upgrade installation so you can't say it's our fault, a mod problem, nothing. A small instance, we currently have photos set for 3 across yet 4 are showing up across. It's a global issue within PhotoPost and frankly, you need to fix it. I am not paying anymore money to my tech support to figure out software that is corrupted and can't even understand a simple box where 3 is entered. It's also impossible to navigate around. Dates and times are wrong. I'd like some fixes and some answers. If you already have Admin privileges at my site, Christian Paper Crafts.

I'm at the end of my rope with this. Vague answers are unacceptable. You're going to need to take the time on this one and support your product because not only did I purchase the product, I also purchased support for the product as well. So, the product needs to be supported.

I've had complaints from members for months now and it's costing me money, which is also unacceptable.

What exactly are you trying to say is your issue?

I do not see anything wrong with your gallery all pages view the way they are suppose to view. You need to be very specific in reporting any issue so we can assist you.

Here's my specific gallery and it doesn't look right, even though the setting is at 3. The date and time are set right but have never been right. It's not showing pictures in order of upload, and I've got 2 more people writing me back with the problems they're experiencing, so addendum to come. When somebody hits My Photos, nothing comes up because while you probably consider that a "mod," if you're going to update software, share the new paths, like I did earlier when I figured it out.

I think the pictures showing 4 across rather than 3 as set was pretty specific, but I will get more specific.

That page is designed to show 4 photos in a single row thats a specific call in the profile template. Those are specific calls to featured photos based on specific sorts latest popular and random.

If you are referring to something you added and that is not in our basic software that would be indeed a mod and product support is not offered for mods.

If you want to change that specfic page change the 4 and 8 to 3 and 3.

Some more specifics:

Before, you had to click on "My Photos" to see your own gallery, but you could see EVERY photo in your gallery, plus the number of comments under each one. Now, the "My Photos" does not work, but you have to click "My Gallery" instead. However, once you click "My Gallery", all you get is the random/ most popular feature. There is no way to see all of one person's photos, no matter where you go or what you click on.

When you upload a photo to the gallery, once the upload is complete, you do not see anything. You have to either click on "Gallery" or "My Gallery" to look to see if your upload is correct.

This may not be a gallery problem, but when you click on a username, the pull down option to see that person's gallery is not there anymore.

When you go to the gallery, none of the tabs work, for example, if you click on Scrapbooking....or a certain company, etc., you get an empty screen. To see anything from the Scrapbook section, for example, you have to click on the little arrow, which says "view most recent upload", but you only see one photo at a time....you have to keep arrowing to the next. This is making "Layout of the Day" next to impossible to pick. All of the categories are the same way.

There is no option for Member Galleries...you know, choose an alphabet and find who you're looking for. You have to scan the gallery until you find someone who uploaded under "Member Galleries", then click on "Member Galleries" under their photo. But then, even when you find the gallery you want, you only see the recent photos.

When you look at someone's profile, you can usually access their gallery from there, but it doesn't work right either.

All of this is set to 3 and yes, and it's obvious that it's not working when looking at the gallery.

Number of columns for thumbnail pages

Display # of comments indicator under thumbnails?

Do you want to show the Members Gallery in List format?

Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?

Display who is viewing a category? SET TO NO
This option adds a query to the Show Gallery page.
Default number of thumbnail rows?
How many rows of thumbnails do you want to display by default on this page?

Since your talking about logged in things I will use my site as an example since I do not have a login at your site but you should be able to understand.

If I click on my photos I get a link that shows all my photos like this

There is nothing wrong with that link. You see all a users photos. I know you have some custom stuff you where talking about you sure your not seeing something different because of that.

If I upload to my gallery I am forwarded to the actual photo. You sure your script is not timing out on large photo uploads? Definately need more info about that example etc.

We do not modify vbulletin code so if you placed a gallery link in your vb dropdown lists and updated your forum you would need to reapply any forum mods you did before again.

well being that your gallery has been altered or modified from the default code you sure the gentleman you had do your work has not created that issue

If I view any other site running our software using clean code from our download area things work. Therefore I would suggest you look at your showgallery template. Download our software and replace any corrupt templates.

You need to turn on under index options in admin the option to show the members gallery and it will show on your index.

Thank you for your help. Your template change did work, however; when I hit My Favorites, I'm getting 4 photos across still with 2 of them being the exact same thing. I will start a new thread on this because we're going to become best friends by the time my gallery gets fixed and will be sending each other Christmas cards There's a ton of links that got broken with the upgrade that have nothing to do with custom mods, so we'll work through each issue, one at a time until resolved and move onto the next. I will PM you with your own admin log-on and password to my website.

Cindy remember as far as links etc we can only control links in our program not ones you have outside the program elsewhere. You can send info via the contact us link on the site header.

These are all inside the gallery and strictly PhotoPost issues. The ones leading outside of the gallery are the ones that are working.

Cindy I just commented in your other post. You need to upload clean unaltered photopost files. From what I see your files are not our default code.
