Adding vBulletin forums

Chuck, when I originally purchased the Photopost, it was meant to be a stand-alone website. I have been thinking about adding a forum and using vb. Can I still use the version of photopost I have? would vbgallery be better? Could I switch if needed without buying another?

You can reinstall your gallery to integrate with vb4. Both galleries work with vb4 you choose which one you want. I am partial to pro but its all personal opinion.

So if I install vb, do I need to wipe out everything I have and start over?

well yes and no.

There are threads here that explain how to "switch integrations" that you can search for.

vb has an importer you can use to import photopost users then you need to reinstall the gallery. if done right you do not need to delete old data

Chuck, when I install the forums, do I want to put them in the same database? Is that the best way to do it or make a separate database?
