| Image Limits
We installed Photopost not real long ago and haven't had any issues. Now the past few days members have been getting a message when they click to upload that says they have reached the max limit of 6 uploads per day when they haven't even uploaded 6 images in that 24 hour period. Also we don't have it set to 6 images as a max, we currently have it set for Registered User to have a max upload of 5 images per day. Is there a setting we are missing that can correct this issue? Thanks!

This setting would be in the "EDIT USERGROUPS" found in the admin section. There is an option that you can set how many uploads per day for each usergroup.

They would have to have uploaded 6 images I would think Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
That query is very specific checking to see how many photos that user has uploaded in the past 24 hours.
If you do not want a daily limit you can easily set the setting to 0 for it to be unlimited as noted in admin edit usergroups as noted in the replyu above.

Thanks for the response. I too would think they would've had to upload the limit with getting the message but one person only had 3 images in her gallery total at the time she was getting the message that she had already uploaded her 6 images. And at that time we didn't even have the limit set to anything, it was still set as 0 so I am not sure what it could be that is off with it all. I set up a test user and was able to upload the 5 layouts before getting the reached the daily limit message so I am not sure why it is only doing this to some users.

You need to check your usergroup perms and those settings
You can also check the user photos in the approval que that maybe you have not approved?

Hi Chuck..
There aren't any photos in the Approval Q and according to my settings for the User Groups are set to 5 uploads per day, 250kb file size limit. You can see both areas in the images attached here. I too thought something with those settings but from what I can tell it is all set correctly. I honestly have no clue as to why it is happening.

I have asked and it doesn't seem to be any images in the que. It only seems to be certain users too, not all of the registered users, so I am not really understanding why they are getting these messages and others aren't.

Just thinking here.. but would it cause it to show up as more uploads if an image was placed in more than one category? or does that not matter?

Yes it would because those are all there own photos in there own right. we store the physical image once but there would be multiple photo records and you have found your issue they do indeed have more than 6 photos
