well my suggestion is to post for support on the issues you have because thats the only way to solve an issue.

Install instructions if you really want to go there are under the support tab in our header.

I've emailed customer support. I don't think I need to do a fresh install. The main problem is that all of my member email addresses keeps changing to my admin email address then all of my members gets locked out of the site.

Is there anyway that I can delete all of the photos and member accounts without reinstalling everything?

well you can clear certain things yes.

For instance to clear photos and comments you can use the bulk action interface in admin to mark photos to delete along with there comments.

The faster way to delete all photos is to delete categories but then you would have to create them again.

I think I found the culprit and its not in the actual program but in the install script to reset admin email and password.

You could easily fix your issue by restoring a known backup of the users table from a good backup and then if you still have a problem resetting your password which you should not through the normal password interface I can post a patch for the install script admin reset but I think thats where your issue lies.

With good backups you should not have to go through all that work.

Clearing the users table is as easy as issuing a command to delete the users in phpmyadmin.

Thanks chuck. I would like the patch. I don't have any backups but I would like to know how to set up a back up directory just in case this ever happens again.

Also when I delete the photo through the site admin will they also be deleted from my web host?

if you delete photos from admin yes they will be deleted on the host side.

The patch is not going to correct your issue but in install.php line 1597 should be this

Code:

I am referring to database backups. Usually one does these through there hosting panel. There is a backup utility in database options one can run to backup the database which may or may not work with all servers but you can setup options for that under global options in admin.
