formatting issues

With PP on showgallery.php the instance of forumhead.foruminfo.L1 that contains the breadcrumbs and search box has issues. The background is white so nothing is visible except for the search box.

With Classifieds I have the same issue on showcat.php. With RP this div is picking up the background color from VB4 and it looks great.

I can't seem to find a way to manually force this div to display a background color. It seems kind of odd give the CSS is named the same I would think it would pick up the same BG color that RP is.

Does anyone know of a way to force this div to pick up a background color?

Update for those in my shoes.
fixed the PP and Classifieds issue by:

created new class:

.catbg {
background-color: #5c708c;
}
added to additional.css then added class to the correct bblockrow instance in cathead.tmpl

Is this a modified vb style? I do not see any issues with a default vb style we used to write the templates.

Chuck,

just to remove all other variables I did another fresh install of VB 4.04 and PP 7.02 on my dev machine. On show gallery the breadcrumb icons and the "search" text are not visible given that their font color is white and the background is white as well.

No longer a problem for me as i was able to set the background color via custom css being applied to specific instances of blockrow on showgallery.php.

Corals - ReefTalk Gallery

Interesting I have a stock install here with no mods which is why I asked not seeing an issue. Style issues can be tough as in regards to compatibility it is written to match a default vb.

Chuck,

maybe my Win7 machine is doing wacky things but when I look at :

Corals - ReefTalk Gallery

The breadcrumb icons (the double Chevrons) between home reeftalk gallery corals. the words "recent photos" and "search" are not visible given their white font color.

This is not the case on your machine?

Update:

Just tested your page from my laptop running XP with IE7, FF, Safari and the behavior is the same.
