Having some problems after install

First of all it is good to be back using vbgallery after so long 2 years of no use (first bought it when vbadvanced released it)

First of all when i try to go into my vbgallery in admincp and modify settings and any other options as far as i can see i am getting this error:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ''' (ASCII=39) state=1 in /home/myusernamecensored/public_html/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php on line 799

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/myusernamecensored/public_html/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php on line 799

when i poiint my browser to /gallery it is ok showing up

also other problem us in the url bar after going to my gallery it has other crap after trailing slash/ -> http://www.website.com/gallery/?&username=gallery

Is this normal?

Thanks hope someone can help

Have you uploaded clean unmodified code for the version of vb your using?

your error would suggest at the very minimum that file is corrupt.

now the only last problem is when i go to /gallery/ it has the other crap at end of link

http://www.website.com/gallery/?&username=gallery

is this ok or is this a problem?

You can place whatever header or navbar replacements you wish in the gallery settings in admin control panel for the scripts you need to make sure the forum url is in front of.

well there are boxes for header and navbar replacements in your vbgallery settings up top.

You simply put the script names you want to do a forum url replace on for instance if your script links are in the header you put the script name in that place and if its in the navbar where the link is bad you put the script name under that section.

without knowing more what links your referring to I cant say.
