Problems after upgrading to include upload issues

Upgraded to 7.0.1 and I'm having a couple of issues.

1. When I log into the admin panel, the right frame never loads... just blank. I can navigate to everything else just fine, but when I click on "statistics" it never loads.

2. I can go through the upload process, I still have an image in the queue, but the photo approval process doesn't complete. I can change the category, add key words and title, but when I click "process" it goes from "/bulkupload.php?ppaction=addphotos&do=preview&defcat=500" to "/bulkupload.php" and on the page it has a title of "Big Dog Biker Photo Gallery Message" with no message and the picture never gets processed.

The data and upload directories are chmod to 777.

I'm also running vb 3.8.5 with integration turned on.

1. How big is your data directory? Maybe its taking forever to stat your data directory. If you edit adm-misc.php and fine this line and comment it out by placing two // in front it if does the admin stats load right up?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
2. What do you mean by this a blank white page? Not really sure might have to actually see your site.

No change, still acts like it's hung up. Restore the admin-misc file. The data dir is just over 610MB.

As far as problem number 2, I checked it in IE (I use FireFox normally), there is an error... "(): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet." It's a normal .jpg file.

Now, just as a test I downloaded an image from the gallery and tried uploading it again with the exact same results.

Oh, and something I noticed tonight while in my gallery. It's pretty freaking crazy. If I click on a picture and the page opens so I can view it... ok, no problem. Within a few seconds the entire gallery page is reloaded into the original gallery page, just below the navbar.

I know this may sound confusing but the original header and navbar are there, then you have the header/navbar/body/footer again/ After all of that you are back at the rest of the original page. It does this in both FireFox and IE.

well your second error sounds like your css your using may just have the background and the text the same color because the message is there.

Your uploading issue may be as simple as a bad file all the way to an issue with your GD2. You need to clear your uploads folder of all numeric folders and try uploading again.

Your first issue my bottom dollar would have been on stating the data directory. I cant think of anything that would make the page take awhile to load than that but will see if I can come up with any other idea.

The stat page never loads, times out.

The image is fine, I created a second gallery for testing, fresh install on a fresh database, no problems with any picture I try. All the settings look fine. I'm just lost at what to do.

I've tried imagemagik and GD2, both fail. Did away with the flash uploader, same results.

And I have NO clue as to why the page reloads inside of itself. That one blows my mind for sure.

I would seriously check the settings and match them to the fresh install.

Clear the uploads directory

The admin page not loading or timing out has to be the line I suggested commenting out. dirsizing your data directory is the ONLY thing I can thing that would timeout the script.
