I have installed photopost twice now. Both times i have an error Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/******/public_html/art/forums/smf.php on line 151
when i look in that folder there is not even a file smf.php
i cannot login but it sees the users from the forum it says there are 19 users wich is right

There is an smf.php file in the forums folder
Are you using smf 1 or smf 2?
Not really sure what you mean by other thread

Line 151 tells me you dont have the correct database info or table prefix entered for smf so it appears you have incorrectly installed the application.

However since the file says smf.php please reinstall and select smf2 integration so it picks up the proper integration. Yours is set to smf not smf2.

Hi Chuck,
I have installed PPC and tried to integrate with existing SMF forum. PPC reads member count right, but there's something wrong. After I log in, it says Login Successful, but in upper right corner its still Login..., so it don't really recognizes me. There's something wrong with the database configuration I guess, but I'm not that good at it...

My suggestion is to rerun through install and make sure you have correctly entered your smfcookie name where asked for it on install. You can also check to make sure your cookies in your forum are set like this
cookie path /
cookie domain .yoursite.com

The cookie settings for PPC must be OK, because when I click "Delete my cookies" under the login fields, it finds SMFCookie463, which exactly matches cookie name shown in SMF admin panel, so it should be set correctly.
I have two options at SMF:
- Enable local storage of cookies (SSI won't work well with this on.)
- Use subdomain independent cookies (turn off local cookies first!)
Any idea which should be thicked?
I still cant find where to look in SMF to find out the cookie path setting...

I ran a php-check on my domain and I found out these values:
- session.cookie_path /
- session.cookie_domain no value
I guess the second line might explain the issue?

I beleive you want to use subdomain independent cookies which should mean it would create a cookie with the domain .yoursite.com which is what you want.
If your cookies do not match between classifieds and smf then you will not be logged into both.
