Upgrading from 5.31 to 7.01?

I know, a little behind on the upgrades. Before I screw it up....
Any problems or things I should do (Besides a backup) or not do before upgrading to the lastest version from the version I am currently running (ver 5.31). ?

Can I go directly to the new version? or do I need any intermediate version upgrades or will the new version go thru all the upgrades needed?

Thanks all.

You should be able to just upload all the new files except install and config files and run the upgrade script selecting the upgrades from 5.3 through 7.0

Perfect!!. It installed and ran first try.

But...getting this error when uploading, BUT it does let the photo upload and everythign seems to work.

----------------
We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.
Script:
Query: UPDATE cache SET timestamp=0 WHERE id=1
Result: Table 'mach1_photopost.cache' doesn't exist
Database handle: Resource id #6
-----------------

Thanks!!

Seems to work fine now. No errors.

Great Support!!. I knew it had to be something simple, it's been working fine.
