Upgraded from 6.23 to 7.01

one of my staff reports the following

Quote:
I have a different view of the gallery, and no option to view more than 25 photos per page. No page numbers , just the "next page" option. When going to recent photos from the main gallery page, it normally takes me directly to the page. Now it gives me the "forwarding to search results" page first.
is there a setting that got changed in the upgrade or something?

well without knowing what page your viewer is viewing I really cant say. There are various changes in the software because for true SEO there can only be one url. Alot of browsing variables are done by cookies.

The only place I know of that has a next link for the next page of things would be the search page so maybe he is on a search page.

Yes the search page is coded to function the way you see it. It is not a category page where you can set sorts and results in different manner. It just displays results based on a predefined search and paginates the results.

okay, more info from my staff, she isn't too savvy on our terminology...

she says the following things are now missing from the gallery home page.

Search
Recent Photos 1 day 7 days 14 days all

and

the option below Recent Photos that gives you the option to change how many photos you want to view per page. For instance, I used to view 90 per page, I am now only able to view 25 per page.

Rob is she even on the home page? The home page most definately has the search box and links. I think you know this if you look at your site

A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery

She is talking about a gallery page and those options are again still there

Reefs - ReefTalk Gallery

I would bet my bottom dollar once again she is probally doing a search and on the search page
