vB4 and Photopost 7 and vbseo - couple of probs

Dear all,

I have just updated to vB4 with the new Photopost 7.01 version and have a lot of trouble between vbseo an Photopost. When I turn vbseo on, I got this failure:

Quote:
Warnung: require_once(./includes/functions_showthread.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /xxxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxx/header-inc.php (Zeile 131)

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/functions_showthread.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /xxxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/header-inc.php on line 131
The vbseo support says, this is a Photopost problem. But, it seems, that the failure is only on a certain browsers visible.

Same probs under Reviewpost and Classifieds.

So, what can we do here?

Well vbSEO is incorrect in there thinking here. It is there application that is interfering with ours which integrates fine with a default vb install. It is not till you use vbseo that you have an issue. Replies like that just make me laugh. Thats like a hack author telling you the problem is with vbulletin not there mod.

Try setting in your vbSEO control panel where they allow you to specify directories NOT to touch with there program your photopost product directory names accordingly.

You should then be fine and might want to pass along to them the correct answer of how to solve there customers issues since the fix has to do with proper configuration of there program and nothing in our code.

The problem is there code is not allowing certain variables to be correctly set in our programing to define whether a person has vb3 or vb4. We have used such variables for almost 7 years now longer than there program has been around.

There's a problem when you use Photopost in a subdomain and vBSEO on your forums. In that case, vBSEO isn't rewriting any Photopost URL's, but whatever Photopost seems to try to fetch from the forums doesn't work.

The only way I can get Photopost to work with vBSEO is to disable the headers/footers part of the integration.

The only way I know of you get our products to work with vbseo is to add our programs into the do not touch settings of vbseo. Thats what numerous users of vbseo have said.

I am quite sure if you disable vbSEO our product works fine. We integrate with vbulletin 4 with no problems. The problem you have is when you enable VBSEO which is the culprit not our product.
