| Upgrade from Gallery 2.5 not working
I'm trying to upgrade from Gallery 2.5 to Photopost 7.0.1 on vB4 on my clone forum.
When I try the photopost url I get a white screen but I've checked all the paths and they look OK.
I've noticed also that when I change the config files on my clone forum they change on my live forum running on 3.8.2.
Any help will be appreciated.

You cant upgrade to pro 7.01 from vbgallery 2.5
You need to install pro and then import the vbgallery content.
If you just installed pro and get a white screen my suggestion is to check the $vbpath line is the correct server path to your vb install. |

Chuck, I've been so busy I've not had a chance to do anything with it yet.
Just downloading all the files again and will give it another go and I'll let you know how I get on.

When I try to access the admin page at the end of the install all I get is the white screen.
Checked all the paths and they seem OK.
Will I need to import all the images from vBgallery before it works correctly?

You will need to import vbgallery content if you want your vbgallery images cats etc in photopost pro sure.
As far as a white page I would suggest you read number 2 on our vb FAQ vBulletin Installation/Integration Common Issues and Resolutions. |

what do you mean its not working?
Your installing Photopost pro right
This is what it looks like in a vb4 A community photo gallery - ReefTalk Gallery.
If you have an issue and your trying to get some support you need to list a url the errors your getting etc etc so someone can actually say hey this is whats wrong do this.
This is what you should be doing.
1. Download Photopost Pro 7.01 and following the install instructions here PhotoPost PHP Photo Sharing Photo Gallery Installation Guide
2. When your done you should have a working empty photopost pro gallery. If not the FAQ thread should assist you. For instance if you have a white page usually that means on the last step of install you did not specify the correct path to vb forum. You can rerun install and input the correct into or edit the vbpath line in the config-int.php file. If it still does not load try setting all 3 vb3 define lines to off. Do you see something then viewing the index?
3. After your install you can use this import script to import your vbgallery content to photopost pro Photopost vbGallery to Photopost Pro Import Script |

I've tried it again and changed some paths/url's but I'm still getting the white screen, I know it's something I'm doing but I just don't know what???
Everything is pointing to my vB4 clone site in the config's on a separate database from my live vB3 forum. But if I put in the photopost url for it, it shows up? Main Index - My Photo Gallery
If I try it for my vB4 forum it's still the blank screen, and all files point to this one. A community photo gallery - My Photo Gallery

That worked a treat Chuck, thank you very much!
One last question, if I import the images on my vb4 site it won't change anything on my live vb3 site, will it?

Another one, when I access the admin for Photopost, if I click on one of the options on the left side all I get is a view of my site.

Not if you do not delete anything from your vb3 site
Not sure what you mean about your admin. If you click an option in the left frame your center frame should load the options. what exactly is happening. I dont know what it loads my site means?

I've got vbseo installed and this shows up on the right side when I look at users online, it shows ' vbseo' on the far right of my name.
