Upgrade Help

We were using vBulletin 3.8.x and PhotoPost v6.2.3 but have just recently upgraded our whole site to vBulletin v4.0.0 Gold.

Our site's been running for about three years now, and in that time we've learnt a lot, but one thing's for sure - we have uploaded quite a lot of rubbish over the years, and installed quite a lot of hacks that looking back on it, we shouldn't have! I suppose you learn as you go on!?

Because of this, we have decided to do a leave our 'databases' as they are, but start from scratch with a clean install of any files from now on. Our 'clean' installation of the vBulletin files is now working fine in conjunction with our existing database.

We earlier downloaded all the files necessary for PhotoPost Pro v7 and have just uploaded them all. We also put in the necessary values into the config-inc.php and config-int.php files. By the way, did you know your config-inc.php file for v7 is still saying $VERSION = 6.23?

The PhotoPost upgrade from v6 to v7 went well, without any error messages.

However, when I try to go into www.oursitename.com/photos/index.php
or www.oursitename.com/photos/adm-index.php all I get is a completely white screen with no contents.

Any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

In another life, I want to come back as you! Thanks for that.

At the moment we've 'hidden' our data folder, so all our images are just saying 'No Thumbnail'. I guess this is to be expected, as it can't find the images?

Where can I alter the path to fix this link?

When we renewed our access to the members are the other day, we did upload all the new files, as we'd moved all our existing files, so I'm pretty sure we're running just the v7 files.

In PhotPost's integration menu I have no option to enable vBulletin v4 - only vBulletin v3 or v2.

Whey hey!

Thanks for your help - that's sorted out that problem.

Let's close this thread down before we break anything else!

Have a merry Christmas Chuck, and thanks for your help with this.

Take a look at the attached jpeg for this url
