Question about meta description of index page

Hi forum

I have setting the field SEO meta description for index page?, in index option, with the text: "La gallery di TevacPhoto, la community fotografica dove pubblicare e discutere le proprie foto con gli amici di Tevac."

Now, I see the text in title tag, and not exist the meta description in index header.

How about try editing pp-inc.php and add this line in bold see what happens.

yes, with this mod the tag description appears in the index of gallery, but now in showphoto page the tag description is the same of index page, and not the description of the photo...

Sorry that line should go in the actual index.php file not pp-inc.php

Just place the bold line right above this line in index.php

Now, if I change the SEO meta description in Index Option, the value is also used for title tag in this format: "SEO meta description - Title for your PhotoPost Application".
If possible to use only the name of Gallery for title tag in Index Page (and only for index page...) ?

not without modifying your code. Michael put that new option in there for SEO purposes. Alot of stuff was done in 7 for SEO purposes.

yes, is true that in version 7 much has been done for SEO, but still not enough

SEO is very important for software but particularly for community that must take many hits from search engines, and we must also look to social network.

necessary that the development team see these aspects more carefully.

meantime I hope to be able to modify the code to make the index of gallery more SEO,
but I try to write often in suggestion area to sensitize.
