After upgrade to version 7, search page not listing categories

Hi forum

like subject, in search page is not possible, after upgrade, select one or more categories but only "all categories" (localization: tutte le categorie), and other special categories.

see this page: Cerca - TevacPhoto Gallery

tnx in advance

Sorry Chuck, I try to explain better...

In search page, in the categories box, appears:

Tutte le categorie (all categories)
Speciali (top level category)
1 Workgroup... (subcategory of "speciali")
TevacPhoto Contest (subcategory of "speciali")
etc... (all subcategory of "speciali")
I have a other top level category, named "Categorie", contains the main categories of the callery, and this is not present in search box.

If you see in index page, the category "Categorie" is listed, and if you click this you see all the categories of Gallery, lost in search page.

tnx

Well mine appears fine on my site so not sure what your issue might be

In search.php find this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Maybe replace with this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

update:

Th category "Categorie" in home page was display also a subcategory, then I have create new top level category, and I have moved all subcategories this, delteting "Categorie" and rename new category with same name. Now the new category is a top level category also in index.

But this operation dont resolve the problem.

Then i changed the order of top level category.

Originally this:

1. member gallery
2. categorie
3. speciali

and the subcategories listed in search page is only those of "speciali".

Now the order is:

1. member gallery
2. speciali
3. categorie

and the subcategories display in search page is those of "Categorie".

this help you

You can send server information through the contact us link as well as admin login I have no idea why your not displaying categories then and the edits I have provided should work fine.
