Upgrade from 6.1 and remove IPB integration

Hi forum, sorry for my bad english... :-(

two questions:

1.
I use the old version 6.1 of Photopost, with and I want to upgrade to latest version.
I simply update or I have to follow some special procedure?

2.
My PP are integrated with IPB forum. is possible to remove the integration without losing customers?

1. Nope simply upgrade

2. Not really unless you write some special script to import your invisionboard members into Photopost users table. Since your integrated with invisionboard the users are located there.
