Step Three Error

Keep getting this Error message when I'm trying to install Photopost Pro.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mysite'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/mysite/public_html/photopost/install.php on line 570
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost MySQL server. [host:$host][mysql_user:$mysql_user][mysql_password:$mysql_password]. Check your config-inc.php for the correct settings and rerun.

Cheeked the setting and they seem OK, trying to load it onto my VB database and have looked over the forums here but can't find an answer.

Thanks in advance.

Alex

That error means the database info in the config is incorrect on install and you need to correct this.

Chuck, I've tried every variation possible but I still can't get it to work.

I know you've likely heard this a million times but can you give me a rough idea what to put in the user database fields please.

The Photopost database fields you put the proper database info. This can be the same as the user database portion if your installing into the same database as the forum.

The User Database information you put the forum database info from your forum config file.

Make sure the database host name username and password are all correct.

Might just be better if I get you to do it.
Do I just go to the homepage and buy an Installation Service?

You get an email confirmation from yahoo on the order. next customer service processes your order and sends you the install contract which is where you authorize us to access your site and list your site details. You send this back they then send it to install person and your site gets installed.

Alex

As stated once you sent the install document back to customer service they will release it to be installed. Have you sent the install document back to customer service?
